Aesthetics, Contemporary Image: Analysis of the Concept Innovation (first class honors thesis / magna cum laude)
I hold a Ph.D. with distinction (magna cum laude) in aesthetics and art sciences from Université Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where the examining board recommended my thesis for publication (Blick 2013; PAF 2014). I received a Ph.D. in architecture and design from the School of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU-USP) and a master’s degree in communication sciences from the School of Communications and Arts (ECA-USP) and with concepts of excellence (note A) in the all-postgraduate program assessment. Also, my dissertation, In Art: Invention and Artifice, received recommendations for publication (Blücher 2009). Both schools where I obtained my master’s degree and Ph.D. are part of the University of São Paulo (USP), ranked as the best university in Latin America.
